For us this is a special occasions place, as the prices are a little high to be a frequent haunt. Other than that though, the food and service has always been great, despite the previous comments - even when really busy. The best restuarant in Gawler in my opinion.

As a vegeterian I never feel like my choices are a tcked on after thought to the menu. They are well thought out well prepared dishes not "oh my god what can we feed the vegetarians - lets throw something crappy together".

Laurie and her staff are always very welcoming and lovely. Sometimes there is a wait for service, but I never feel neglected. This is an intimate family affair of a restaurant and sometimes, you just have to be patient if you want to maintain the quaint intimacy of the venue.

I love eating here and go at least every couple of months.

A table of 9. This restaurant is overpriced. Poor servings. My friends enjoyed their Fish of the day and Steak. Two friends enjoyed their Chicken dishes. Now the Lasagne ... sounds great on the menu but was dry, crunchy burnt on the bottom with little pasta or Bechamel sauce. A very uneven designed dish. Very expensive plus $26.00 each. The service was pretty good. The ambience of the restaurant was very good, we felt relaxed and comfortable.

Absolutely LOVE this restaurant. The staff are among the best I have ever been served by - friendly yet professional, great advice and knowledge of their food and wines. The decor is amazing and well placed screens and shelving give the impression of intimacy to every table. I booked out the whole restaurant for my daughter's 21st and could not have wished for a better venue. I am a "fussy" eater with a dairy allergy as well and I always find meals on the menu suitable for me to eat.

Lovely cosey restaurant serving modern & traditional Italian Cuisine. Generous serves - prices on the high side.

This restaurant is let down by it's service which is very slow if not non-existant at times. We sat at our table for 40 minutes during which time we were only asked if we would like drinks once & had to continuously request service.

Staff were also quite young and inexperienced with little knowledge of the menu or wine list.

Not open Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. No BYO.

They could do with a takeaway service also.
