This place used to be my favourite, considering that I am of Yugoslavian descent.
But now, this place disappoints me. It's like they're mocking my country.
The karadjodjeva is very dry and very small for a decent serve. It is meant to be a soft juicy meat, wrapped around a big slosh of sour cream and many bacon pieces. There were hardly any bacon pieces and they used cream cheese instead.
Traditionally, my family and I have our Sarma [Herbed mince meat in cabbage rolls and stock] with sour cream. But all they could offer was the tiny remaining amount of cream cheese they had.
When my parents asked the new owner about something on the menu, he had no idea and said he doesnt know the language or the culture.
Then why the hell is he managing the place?!?!
MAKE DECENT YUGOSLAVIAN FOOD!
