Was served the wrong drink twice and then charged for their mistake, it seemed suspiciously intentional as the waiter put the drink on the table with the label backwards and called the drinks the correct name. The staff then accused me of lying when I went to pay the bill, after being told they cannot refund for a drink the have opened the manager was called and i received money back for the drinks.

I went there few times now, they have their up and downs...it is an old fashioned cafe but in general I received my meals within a reasonable time and the service was ok. Nothing great but not too bad neither. I will go back in when I pass by. It is quite casual and comfy, good place just to chill...

Ive been to Najjars a number of times and always come away dissapointed. Staff are rude, slow, coffee is very ordinary, toilets are usually dirty, meals take too long to come out - almost 30 minutes on a wrap during the week!! Would not visit again or recommend to anyone.

I recently went to Najjars for coffee with my sister and small son (14mths) While at the restaurant he made a mess (tipped up a small container of cereal on the floor) When we left the cafe and headed back to our car, one of the waitresses followed us to the car and yelled at us in the street for being such disgusting pigs and leaving a revolting mess on the floor. She was rude and aggressive and very threatening in her nature. Definately not a child friendly location. We won't be going back. The coffee wasn't even very nice.

Be warned, the staff are very rude. I enquired whether they had gluten free bread this morning in which they did, although at a cost of $3 extra(apparently to COVER their costs). I asked under this basis if they would discount the bacon, eggs and toast, if I didn't have the bread in which they rudely responded they wouldn't (with an attitude:'can't believe you asked that....;). I would assume it was a owner/manager who attempted to get into an arguement with me and left me feeling very upset. What ever happended to customer service??? It's disappointing to go to a cafe/restaurant who are capitalising on their customers dietry requirements - I know gluten free bread can be expensive although at a cost $3 a piece I definately feel as though they are attempting to make more money off of others misfortunes. After reading the other reviews there appears to be a theme - I will never return and I'll make sure all my friends & family are aware of my experience. I would NOT recommend this restaurant/cafe.

nice cakes and deserts. The staff were exceptionally nice to me because their toilets were just mopped and I nearly slipped in there. haha!
