One of Melbourne's most historic hotels, the Portland Hotel, incorporating the James Squire Brewhouse and Portland Lane Café, offers a unique hospitality experience. The Portland houses three distinct entertainment areas each with their own identity. The Portland Lane Cafe offers modern casual dining in a relaxed and informal atmosphere and the James Squire Brewhouse showcases handcrafted, award winning ales brewed both on site and at the Malt Shovel Brewery (Australasian Brewery of the Year 2000/2003).
