The Cuckoo is a Melbourne icon. we have been there many times and whenever we have visitors from overseas this is one place that we like them to experience. The selection of both hot and cold dishes is great and their dessert bar is fantastic - where else do you get pancakes cooked for you while you wait. While the cuisine is international it has a predominantly German flavour. The entertainment is great with the performers engaging the guests (particularly children) in their performances. Not only is the food fantastic the service is great too, far superior to what we have experienced in most other restaurants both here and abroad.

They also have a great High Tea.
