Always been able to book for Yum Cha & the range is excellent with quality very high. Staff are polite & efficient.We visit regularly & don't understand poor reviews seen for Gold Leaf.

This is one restaurant to stay away from. There are a great number of chinese restaurants (including yum cha restaurants) in Melbourne that provides good service and good food. This is not one of them. Gold Leaf in Springvale attempts to churn over a number of patrons and thereby suffer in services. Some waiters and waitresses do not speak English. We were there specifically for certain foods for yum cha and towards the end of our meal the trolleys did not come around with what we were after. We called the waiter and asked if we could order. Firstly, the waiter did not understand and he called for one of the "head waiters". The "head waiter" rudely shouted that we cannot order for yum cha and when asked for the bill he again SHOUTED rather than advised us that we should pay at the counter. The food is average and there are plenty of other places that serve better food. Stay away.

We love it, yum cha and dinner, good service and great food. We love introducing our friends to this restaurant.
